Hi all,
Can anyone please tell me how to perform file handling operations like read,write to *.xml file using Javascript? Please help.

If you're talking about files on the client side, then there's no way to do this - JavaScript has no access to files (nor any file I/O capabilities).

Files residing on the server can be read (though nor written directly) through the XmlHTTPRequest object.
 
I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
