calling a servlet from html

Hi,
I am having a html form which consist of two frames.In one frame,one html file is called and in another frame the other html file is called.i that html, i need to call the servlet .I had given the tag like this

But i am getting a blank page.

When are you getting a blank page? The page you posted above will of course be blank, since it contains no elements that would have a visual appearance.

As an aside, how were you planning on submitting the form, seeing that there is no submit button?

Hi preethi,

what do you think this page should display? There's nothing but an empty form tag in your HTML body, so there really is nothing to display for the browser. If you don't have some form elements to collect the data you want to transmit to your form action servlet there won't happen anything.

Or did I get you wrong with this question?
