As bandwidth-intensive, IP-based applications such as the triple play and Ethernet access continue to boost bandwidth requirements, this company's solutions enable these diverse network operators to rapidly deliver new services over a high-capacity Ethernet/IP optimized infrastructure, for the lowest possible cost.

Design and implement network management software (NMS) for a next-generation carrier-class transport product.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and develop network management software.
- Develop feature design specifications
- Conduct and actively participate in development reviews (i.e. requirements, design, code & test plan).
- Integrate and test software features

Qualifications
- Requires BS in computer science or equivalent.
- 3+ years software development experience in telecom or datacom products
- Must have strong experience either on GUI side using Java Swing or server side using Java(J2SE), OOA/OOD
- Highly motivated individual with ability to learn quickly and drive the design and development of new features

Plusses:
- Working knowledge of Ethernet and SONET/SDH a strong plus
- Embedded software development experience
- TL/1, SNMP, XML, JDMK and AdventNet product experience
