Hey, In the recent wave of Silverlight, Flex, AIR, JavaFX, and Curl, do you think that web designer are swimming in dangerous water? Do you expect they will loose their jobs in a couple of years?

The triumvirate of HTML/CSS/JavaScript isn't going anywhere.The incursions of these new technologies into the traditional space will remain relatively small.

Also, I would imagine these people with artistic skills are going to be instrumental in making these new technologies look good too.

Microsoft also came out with a line of all new products for Slightlight and web designers. The tools are actually pretty nice looking. Eric
