1. Please suggest me a book which contains html, dhtml and javascript. I had seen the head first series book on html, Xhtml but I think it does not contain DHTML.

2. I also want to learn Ajax, what is an pre-request to learn Ajax. Is it necessary to known jsp for Ajax. How Ajax and Dojo is related.

3. Does Ajax and DHTML do the same things ?

4. I already know the basics to intermediate concepts of html, dhtml and javascript. but i cant able to find a right book for these three topics. I am looking for a book on these topics, having a pattern similar to K&B SCJP 5.0 (book having less long examples and having more technical points)

5. Please suggest a book or link on Ajax or Dojo, so that i can use them and understand them. I don't know anything about Ajax or Dojo.

You are not really going to find a good book that covers HTML and JavaScript both in depth.

If you want a good book on leaving via projects: http://oreilly.com/catalog/9780596514082/

The book on JavaScript as people normally refer to it: http://oreilly.com/catalog/9780596101992/?CMP=AFC-ak_book&ATT=JavaScript%20+The+Definitive+Guide#9543388888986104872

Also make sure to check out the bunkhouse for staff reviews: http://www.javaranch.com/bunkhouse/books.jsp
