I don't know if I post on the right forum. I've heard about server side java scripting called rhino ....
I try to assign a button in a html/jsp page that will execute rhino java script (because I want to access java code)
How can I do this ?? Is it the usual way of handling onClick button event to our js code embedded in the html/jsp page ?
Thanks in advance

It is not going to work in your case since the JavaScript that executes on the button click is on the client and not the server.

You would have to post back to the server or use Ajax to make the call to the back-end.

Right. Rhino is not the technology that will help you solve your problem. Ajax is the ticket.
