Job description:

Our client has several openings for FULL TIME EMPLOYEES. Client seeks J2EE SOFTWARE ENGINEERS - Project Leads with at least 5 yrs of experience.

$115k-$130k + 4 weeks vacation + 10% bonus + benefits

Responsibilities:
** Develop and maintain architecturally sound, modular, component-driven applications.
** Drive the analysis and design of software systems; help shape system requirements, and develop analysis-level documents that reflect the requirements.
** Demonstrate leadership capabilities by providing direction to and mentoring for less experienced members of the staff.
** Maintain system and design documentation, and prepare materials for project reviews.
** Perform the implementation, UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and production release phases of project.
** Adhere to our software development life-cycle processes and also complete documentation of business processes and systems
** Serve as points of contact between IT and clients, and between groups within IT

Requirements:
** Self starter with the ability to multi-task and assess priority.
** Ability to adapt to evolving business needs is essential.
** Prior experience assisting clients in fully defining specifications.
** Prior experience both leading and participating in the analysis, design and development (coding) of client/server business applications.
** Strong understanding of standard software development lifecycle methodologies.
** Strong understanding of all aspects of corporate software development; strong client, server, database, and reporting skills.
** Full understanding of systems composed of multiple related applications, from both software and business perspectives.
** Effective oral and written communications abilities.
** Excellent Java development skills (design and coding)
** Knowledge of and experience with Analysis and Design Patterns.
** Experience using UML (Unified Modeling Language)
** Experience in making presentations, with the proven ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
** Experience in data migration between systems and work flows are a plus.
** Experience with entertainment oriented business systems is a plus.

Experience:
** Java Development 5+ years
** Application Server (WebLogic preferred) -2+yrs.
** Web Frameworks, JSP or, Swing (Spring Webflows preferred)-2+yrs.
** Spring/Hibernate-2+yrs.
** SQL and entity relationship modeling (Oracle Preferred) 4+yrs.
** Ant / Ant Maker / CVS -2+yrs.
** IDE-4yrs.
** Rose (or some UML tool)-4yrs.
