Hi.
I've download recently the Castor project from http://www.exolab.org
But I cannot make it run!!!, how does it works??, Ive revised the documentation and doesn't help too much.
If any of you people have already work with this tool, could you please explain me ( if you don't mind ), how can I create java classes, XML documents from my relational database ???
Any information would be a great help.
I've tried the mailing list, but... well, didn't find anything.
Thanks

Hi,
Castor is used mostly for complex schemas.
Using your XML schema you can generate the java-bean source code. The parameter i is for the input file of your schema.I'm also trying the same from last week and it is working fine. You must have apache's xercer.jar and castor.jar to generate the java source code. From the command prompt use it as shown below.
java org.exolab.castor.builder.SourceGenerator -i urschema.xsd

if you are having any problems then mail me at venugopal.n@mailcity.com
cheers,
venu
