Hi
I have developed a system with servlet-applet and HTML. I know nothing about XML. I don't know where to start.Also will it be useful in my job hunting.Can anyone pass me information about books and online souces for XML

first, welcome to the ranch.
its nice that you want to get started on XML.
While I can't predict your job prospects, but
I can say that developing XML skills would not
have any negative effects, well unless ofcourse
your boss thinks that you are trying to jump
over him/her...
as to XML please check with the javaranch XML links
and you could go through some of the older posts
where similar concers have been addressed.
