Can anyone please recommand me a very easy to use parser for xml, I just want to try how a pareser works. Regards Aamir

You can download Xerces from Apache or JAXP from Sun. Both of these come with example programs that can be just compiled and run. They also contain some sample xml files. Here is a perormance comparison matrix for various parsers tested with validation. Eventhough the data is quite old, I'm sure this will give you an idea about what to expect. DOM and SAX Put to the Test

It is likely that Sun's JAXP package will be made part of the standard Java release, so you might as well learn that one. Bill
