Continuous Integration Build Engineer

Join a world class agile development team located in the heart of downtown Bellevue. As Build Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and enhancing a Continuous Integration build that is at the core of our development process. You will utilize your skills in C#, Perl and XML to extend our automation system integration with our version control software, test automation (NUnit, Selenium), code inspection and web reporting. This critical position requires excellent communication skills as you will be interacting with a variety of functions and levels in the application development organization.

Responsibilities

* Implement the Continuous Integration build process

* Consistently produce testable builds daily

* Continue to improve our unified reporting structure across build results, NUnit and UI automation


Required Qualifications:

* Minimum 3 years + in a development, build or quality assurance position

* Hands on experience with agile build processes

* BS in computer science or engineering, or equivalent

* Good working knowledge of enterprise data driven web applications (.Net or Java)

* Experience as a software developer, SDET or as a build engineer including use of automated tools and/or scripting builds and/or tests by means Perl, C#, Java or other scripting language

* Familiarity with CI build tools: Ant/NAnt, Cruise Control, FXCop, Ncover, Subversion, Simian, Team City or the like

* A passion for improving engineering processes and continuous skills improvement

* Thorough attention to detail

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Demonstration of positive interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment

* Experience in Quality Assurance a plus



Desirable Qualifications

* Experience in Agile and/or XP development practices

* Experience with open source build management tools
