Fortune 500 company in Richmond, VA is looking for 2 Jr. level J2EE developers to join their web apps group. This is a contract to hire position, with conversion to Perm after 6 months. This company has excellent benefits, great pay and a great work environment. 1 - 3 years of experience prefered. Here's a list of what you'd be working on (and what the client is looking for):

1) Core Java principles
-> Inheritance,Abstraction,Interfaces
-> Exception handling
-> Multithreading concepts

2) JDBC concept
-> PreparedStatements, CallableStatements,ResultSet
-> How to get connections and proper closing of connections and ResultSet

3) Java Design Patterns
-> Singleton
-> Factory
-> Strategy
-> Facade
-> Command
1) Jsp/Servlets
-> Directives,JSTL,EL
-> Request, Response, RequestDispatcher, Cookie

2) EJB
-> SessionBeans, MessageDrivenBeans
-> Transactions in EJB

3) J2EE design patterns
-> Model View Controller (MVC)
-> EJB facade
-> Transfer Objects/Value Objects (VO)
-> Data Access Objects (DAO)

4) JCA
-> JCA concepts
-> Client side usage of JCA

-> Writing html markups
-> Javascript
-> Simple AJAX concepts

6) Webservices
-> Concept of webservices and wsdl file
-> Writing webservices and webservice clients

-> Action, ActionForms, Configuring actions in struts-config.xml
-> Struts tags bean,logic and html tags
-> Validation framework

1) Writing simple queries
2) Knowledge of stored proc/functions
