I need a jdk 1.3 complient tool that will serialize a given object's state to XML, and then back again. Any and all suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks,
M

Balaji,
Already tried castor, but it's not as smart as I had hoped, in that it doesn't seem to handle
1) circular references well,
2) when unmarshalling, handle overloaded methods well(ex. setSSN() takes both a String and a ssn Object), but Castor seems unable to keep up.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks,
