Hello, I'm trying to create a org.jdom.input.DOMBuilder(); instance which compiles great but fails on run with: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/w3c/dom/Node I've read other topics posted here on this same run-time error but have not been able to solve the problem. I'm on WIN2k using JBuilder with Xerces, JDOM, and JAXP jars in my classpath (all downloaded separately from JDKs). JDK 1.3.1 and 1.4 are both installed on the machine. Any help, experience, tips would be super.
Since classpath and jar location seems to be essential to this solution here is my classpath: C:\Data\MyDocs\Java Projects \AtlysConnection\classes; C:\Data\Program \jdom\jdom-b8\build\jdom.jar; C:\Data\Program \xerces-2_4_0\xercesImpl.jar; C:\Data\Program \xerces-2_4_0\xml-apis.jar; C:\Data\Program \xerces-2_4_0\xmlParserAPIs.jar; C:\Data\Program \mysql-connector-java-3.0.8-stable\ mysql-connector-java-3.0.8-stable- bin.jar; C:\Data\Program \jwsdp-1.2\jaxp\lib \jaxp-api.jar; C:\Data\Program \JavaSDK1.3.1\demo\jfc\Java2D\Java2Demo.jar; C:\Data\Program \JavaSDK1.3.1\jre\lib\endorsed\dom.jar; C:\Data\Program \JavaSDK1.3.1\jre\lib\endorsed\sax.jar; C:\Data\Program \JavaSDK1.3.1\jre\lib\endorsed\xalan.jar; C:\Data\Program \JavaSDK1.3.1\jre\lib\endorsed\xercesImpl.jar; C:\Data\Program \JavaSDK1.3.1 \jre\lib\endorsed \xsltc.jar; C:\Data\Program \JavaSDK1.3.1\jre\lib\i18n.jar; C:\Data\Program \JavaSDK1.3.1\jre\lib\jaws.jar; C:\Data\Program \JavaSDK1.3.1\jre\lib\rt.jar; C:\Data\Program \JavaSDK1.3.1\jre\lib\sunrsa sign.jar; C:\Data\P rogram\JavaSDK1.3.1\lib\dt.jar; C:\Data\P rogram\JavaSDK1.3.1\lib\html converter.jar; C:\Data\Progra m\JavaSDK1.3.1\lib\tools.jar"
I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
