Internet Explorer and CSS......

I've been working through the samples in Just XML (published by Wrox), and I can't get the sample code to run for some of the CSS stuff. I was considering installing Netscape on my computer at home so I can see these examples, but before I do that, I want to make sure it will work. I have both browsers at work, but when I try to run the code on Netscape, the file always opens using Iexplore, so I can't see the results in Netscape. Anybody have any ideas on what I should to see these CSS examples?

Can you give an example of the type of code you're trying to run that's bring up IE (for those who don't have that book).
