How to parse?

the snippet as following:

  NodeList tables=mainNode.getElementsByTagName("table");
           for(int i=0;i<tables.getLength();i++){
              Element table=(Element)tables.item(0);
              String  tableno=table.getAttribute("no");
              out.println(tableno);
              tablenoV.add(tableno);
              NodeList  checks=mainNode.getElementsByTagName("check");
              for(int j=0;j<checks.getLength();j++){
                Element check=(Element)checks.item(j);
                String checkid=check.getAttribute("id");
                out.println(checkid);
                checkid=tableno+"#"+checkid;
                 checkidV.add(checkid); 

I parses it,I want every tableno map serval checkid,but I got every tableno has the same checkid(all checkid of xml doc)
How can I compose *for loop*?

i cant' really follow everything you are saying.
do you want to find out all the checkid's for a given table number is that what you are trying to do .. ???
