Suppress text nodes in output when empty

Hello @all!
I try to output the nodes plus additional information of an xml-file.
Here is the code with wich I do it:

My question: How can I suppress the lines where the NodeName is #text and the NodeValue is empty?
First I tried this one:

if (! "".equalsIgnoreCase(n.getNodeValue()))
{   
String str1 = n.getNodeName();   
String str2 = n.getNodeValue();   
System.out.println("NodeName: " + str1 + ", NodeValue: " + str2)
}

Then I tried this one:

if (n.getNodeValue() != null && n.getNodeValue() != "")
{   
String str1 = n.getNodeName();   
String str2 = n.getNodeValue();   
System.out.println("NodeName: " + str1 + ", NodeValue: " + str2);
}
Last I tried this:

factory.setIgnoringElementContentWhitespace(true);

But nothing worked...
Can anybody help me with this problem, please?

        + ", NodeValue: " + node.getNodeValue());
}
