I want to use DOM object and servlets for my application what i want is
that the document object should be passed to the back end which will do the required processing and then again send the modified document to the servlet . I need some examples for this ??? can anyone help nme out???

I don't think this question is really related to XML, more with servlets and URL objects, but if you are talking about helper classes as your "back end", then simply pass the Document object the way you normally would. To get it back to the servlet, open a URL connection and write the object via an ObjectOutputStream, and in the servlet us an ObjectInputStream to receive it and do whatever else you need to do.

If you would describe what the "back end" is, maybe we could provide more answers.
