XPath - writing extension functions

I need to use my own extension function in an XPath query. For example my query may look like "myns:myfunc('param1') > 2". Is there an XPath implementation in Java that makes it possible? I've already tried Xalan2J, but it doesn't support writing my own extension functions (without hacking the source code). I've also tried Jaxen, which makes it possible, but it cannot handle namespace prefixes for functions. Is there any other XPath implementation in Java besides Xalan and Jaxen or does anyone have an idea about the problem?

With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
