This week's giveaway is in the EJB and other Java EE Technologies forum. We're giving away four copies of EJB 3 in Action and have Debu Panda, Reza Rahman, Ryan Cuprak, and Michael Remijan on-line! See this thread for details.
I am attempting to run a tutorial that uses JAXB. But I have hit a problem. The tutorial states that I download JAXB from the Sun WebSite. JAXB should contain two jar files jaxb-xjc.jar to generate the classes, jaxbc-rt.jar to use the generated classes. On the Sun site if you want the jaxb jars you have to downlaod the jwsdp-1_3-windows-i586 pack, which I did. This contains four jars: jaxb-api.jar jaxb-impl.jar jaxb-libs jaxb-xjc Has jaxbc-rt been depreciated. Thansk for any help It seems that the aim now days is to pile confusion on confusion when developing web applications. Keeps the authors and training companies in money. Tony
