just now i started to read abt xml.In the first line of xml document it contains
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
The attribute version tells abt the document of which version and what abt the encoding attribute.what is the use of this encoding attribute.

Actually i got this when im grow throu that site only.In that site i didnt get the detail explanation.I saw some examples xml documents in that this encoding attribute values differs like USF ,88-0-s 1 like this i found.so any plz tel me in detail with an example code.what is the use of this encoding attribute.
