Hi,

Does anyone know if this would work. Lets say I have 3 variables that make up a a particular URL e.g var1, var2 and var3. In my XSL then can I simply say <a href="$var1$var2$var3">??

Thanks

No.
You have to use concat() funtion of xslt.

<xsl:value-of select="concat($var1,$var2,$var3)" /> will do.
