Hi i am using the JDOM to read an XML File in JBuilderX
all is ok, but when i am using the jdk1.4 and run it form the Dos
an Exception occurs:
org.apache.xerces.parsers.DOMParser: org.apache.xerces.parsers.DOMParser

this is the Code:
DOMBuilder builder = new DOMBuilder(false);
Document doc = builder.build(new File("i:/XMLTest.xml"));

an Exception occurs:
org.apache.xerces.parsers.DOMParser: org.apache.xerces.parsers.DOMParser

Somehow I doubt that the above is the complete text of the exception....
Any parser can give much more detail, and you should write your program to catch the exceptions thrown by the build method and extract that detail.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
