i am not finding org.xml.sax api.from where i can get this api???

The package org.xml.sax is documented in the Java 1.4 and 1.5 JavaDocs just like every other package. As I recall, for earlier versions it was a separate download.

Which version of Java do you have installed?

i am having java 1.4 but when i am compiling sax parser prog. it is giving error that sax api is not there....what to do

What to do? Well you might start by posting the ACTUAL code that causes the compiler error and include the exact error message - my crystal ball is in the shop for the 10,000 vision checkup.
