I've got a Document that is a xerces PSVIDocumentImpl. I want to make a copy, and that class has a method cloneNode(boolean deepCopy). However, when i use that method, I get the XML nodes but I lose all PSVI info. For example, on the original PSVIDocumentImpl, the following returns an object:

XSElementDeclaration decl = ( ( ElementPSVI ) element ).getElementDeclaration();

However, in the cloned node, that statement returns null.

Any idea how to do this?

I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
