I have encoded a java bean with the XMLEncoder. For empty strings and zero value attributes, the XMLEncoder do not generate XML to eliminate redundancy.
When I try to decode the xml back to the java bean I get a "java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException" , which I assume it is trying to do the setters on the bean for attributes that does not exist in the XML. Has anybody worked with this and how did you get by the problem??

Thanks
Jakes
