Hi
Thank you for reading my post.
Does JDK has XML parsing implementation and Xpath implementation or we should use 3rd party libraries?

thanks

jdk 1.4 has crimson parser with it. and xPath api has been introduced as part of jaxp1.3 , that is shipped with jdk1.5. I do not know exactly which implementation comes with jdk 1.5.

AND the latest Java 6 adds support for the StAX - Streaming API for XML.
Why are you asking this question here when the JavaDocs that come with the JDK (now called JSE for standard edition) AND the Sun website for the SDK are full of information?

You will have to do some fiddling with the package names to get parsing working since the Java standard library uses javax. etc package names where Xerces uses org.apache.xerces etc.
Code that uses the org.w3c.dom package interfaces should work without change.
