Hi,
i am confused about different APIs like DOM,SAX,JAXP,JAXPB.I know the difference between DOM and SAX but why there are so many apis for xml processing.A brief explanation will help.

Only JAXP is for XML processing; see the
XML FAQ
for a few introductory links.
JAXB
is an API for binding
Java
objects to XML documents, and vice versa.
