Using XSL to Render and Toggle Selected Radio Button or Selected Checkboxes

I have simple input textfields rendered without problem. Could anybody help me with an example to render radio buttons as well as checkboxes using XSL?

My data are in an XML file:

When rendering to HTML using XSL, I would like to have the "everMarried" default to "NO" and all fruits default to "selected".

Users can toggle the radio buttons and checkboxes and submit the selections.

I have a XSL file like:

You haven't shown the HTML you want to generate for one of those components. Designing the HTML would be the first step in the process.
