Welcome to the world of Web Services
What people usually do is use tools like WSDL2JAVA to create stubs for making the web service calls. These stubs have a choice of bindings. It can be XML beans, some other technology or other tool specific data binding.
Data binding is nothing but Java classes that represents the message of the WSDL operation and a stub class contains methods corresponding to WSDL operations with arguments/return types as the data binding.
This link has some information about using wsdl2java with Axis2.
