we have data in an oracle db. we are trying to convert this data to XML using XSU because it would be used by web services eventually.
The connection remains open for the entire duration of oracle data to xml conversion. With multiple requests, all the connections are relinquished.
Is there a way to take data from the database and convert it into XML, without relinquishing the connections. All this is dynamic data and cannot be cached. Also, if the data is converted into XML and cached, is there way that the cache XML data could be synchronized with the DB? Like hibernate, where it performs a sync operation between the app layer and the DB layer.
Any ideas/technology suggestions would help.
