"XP" wasn't hard to figure out, but how are we supposed to know what "UP", "RUP", and "DRUP" mean? These unexplained acronymns (abbrevs) are mystifying and might be one reason a lot of people don't go to this topic in the saloon.

Even I was wondering what these acronyms stand for. Now that I know what are their full forms, I'm still wondering WHAT IS Unified Process, Rational Unified Process and Derived Rational Unified Process ?
