Cool! Thank you very much - for both the book and the great discussions!

The soul is dyed the color of its thoughts. Think only on those things that are in line with your principles and can bear the light of day. The content of your character is your choice. Day by day, what you do is who you become. Your integrity is your destiny - it is the light that guides your way. - Heraclitus

Congrats to everyone.
I'll definitely continue to keep dropping in, although you might not see me this coming week as I'll be in Munich and haven't yet determined my Internet access strategy.

PS -- Munich, by the way, is an incredible city.

Mhh, last time I was there, I felt more like being in a village. Not that I don't like villages - I moved from Berlin to Karlsruhe...

It was about you, so you might not want to know.
My original query was about DBA resistance to agility. Scott's reply included a reference to http://www.agiledata.org/essays/impedanceMismatch.html, which he says talks "about the cultural impedance mismatch and delve[s] into issues such as this."
