Let's all give a big JavaRanch welcome to Mark Denne and Jane Cleland-Huang, the authors of "Software by Numbers: Low-Risk, High-Return Development". They will be with us this week to discuss their book. Share in the discussion and you may be the lucky winner of a copy of the book!
Check our book promotion page for the rules.

The soul is dyed the color of its thoughts. Think only on those things that are in line with your principles and can bear the light of day. The content of your character is your choice. Day by day, what you do is who you become. Your integrity is your destiny - it is the light that guides your way. - Heraclitus

I am new to this forum, really glad to see the participation from the authors and the members. Although this may be limited to the time of the promotion (read in another thread) but still the idea is great.
