who in Texas follows XP religiously???

Valtec, Sabre are usual suspects.

Are there any other firms who are deep into utilizing XP(from texas). I know many folks in Sabre hate the idea since the way it is done there is aweful.

Well, "following XP religiously" is kind of an oxymoron - XP requires by a team to try the practices, find out which work for them well and which don't in the current circumstances, and to adapt its process.

Do you mean Valtech? I thought they used some RUP variant (and not the XP "module" of RUP)?

yes, I think he meant valtech. I have worked with few of these folks. They do follow XP. except pair programming part and such. I know there used to be objectspece (which now known as recursion software)which did it and lots of objectspacers became valtechies. so where ever this objectspacers went put quiet a bit of XP in place I believe. perticularly TDD. I think some of them went to I2 as well.

*That* actually sounds more like the typical "something almost, but not entirely, unlike XP"... :roll:
