My March 2006 column summarizes techniques for scaling agile software development methods such as doing some initial modeling at the start of the project, holding "scrums of scrums", hiring good people, adopting common guidance, and delivering working software regularly. I think Ken Schwaber mentioned recently that he or Jeff Sutherland (can't remember correctly) was working on a 200-man Scrum project.
Too bad SD requires a registration, that would've been an interesting article.
