Hi Johanna,
Most of PMs face difficulty in managing "Risk" in IT projects.
How Manage It! will help PM community to manage Risk effectively?

Kiran,
In Manage It!, I suggest to PMs that they build their risk lists (and provide a template), and that they evaluate their risks lists weekly.
But aside from that, I talk about choosing a lifecycle that reduces risk, recognizing schedule games so you can avoid schedule risk, PM practices that reduce risk, measurements that reduce risk, and technical practices that reduce risk. By talking about risk all the way through the book, I hope that PMs will actively manage risk. I don't see how risk can be something you do separately from PM; I see it as an integrated part of how to manage a project.
