Hello, Are the other certifications, related to PMP? Is there a certification path? Thanks in advance, Estevao Rohr.

For certifications from PMO, visit www.pmo.org. PMP has prerequisites like, experience as project manager. CAPM is one that has less prerequisites. HF PMP book can be used on both exams. CAPM is also based on the same materials that PMP is based on, like the PMBOK guide.

If you have less project management experience, you can apply Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM�). The path is CAPM -> PMP -> PgMP. But they are not prerequisites. You can directly apply PgMP if you have enough experience.

You also might want to checkout Prince2. A few years back, some of the project managers in our company went on to pursue this path. But I think right now, it's being standardised across departments to go with PMP instead.

PRINCE2 provides method which is the de-facto standard for project management in the UK, so is popular in European countries.
