Anyone know how I can save emails from a free Yahoo account? I'd like to be able to download and archive a bunch *without* having to buy an account that lets you forward your mail.
Thanks,
Pauline

I just went and created a yahoo account just to see, that's how much I like you
Anyway, not sure if it is what you are asking, but there is a Save Message Text down at the bottom of the page, it allows you to save your email as an html file on your local hard drive. I only did it with the welcome email that Yahoo sends you, so not sure if it is there for every email you get. I don't like you THAT much to run through a few tests

Aw, c'mon, just a itty bitty test for little old me
Thanks! I hadn't seen that option before. That will work for individual emails I guess, it's just that I haven't done it for months and now there are a LOT of emails to save.
Mostly I'd like to trim it down so it doesn't fill to capacity - then I'll have no choice but to buy a mailbox. That's exactly what they want of course...

Sometimes you can set up yahoo to pick up mail from your ISP. In other cases you can get your ISP to forward your email to yahoo. I've done it both ways for different ISPs.

However, I've never found a way to download mail from Yahoo in bulk without paying them. Sorry.

Downloads mails from Yahoo and gives you access to them through pop3:
