I know this is a Java website, but you're all really good developers/programmers so I thought I'd ask (and it's why it's here in this forum). I have a web site that has a number of files organized in a special way. I want to make a plug-in (or something) so that they can be viewed through windows-explorer as though they were a file-system. Does anyone know how to do this? I know web storage system does this.

Bear thanks for your reply! Any idea if I can use the WebDAV stuff in Jakarta Slide to set something up that can then be used in Windows Explorer (Win 2000, XP)? Any idea on Zope or any of the others? Thanks!

Does anyone know if there's a way to require more than a username and password in webdav?

Going back to your original request, it may depend on the version of windows and more options, but you can map web and ftp sites using the 'Map network Drive' functionality. My firewall is causing me grief so I haven't been able to test it for you
