I was using windows 2000 until I got a problem in my hard drive. Of course, I got the drive replaced but all my stuff dissapear. I ran the recovery cd's from toshiba and it automatically installed windows XP. But I urgently require to go back to windows 2000, my company requires that in order to install all the software for support and other stuff . I'm completely screwed, now my cd rom does not want to work with all my cd's. It recognizes some of them, some don't. How do I boot from the CD rom? This is a priority 1 problem P.S: I have no problems of loosing data, I've already lost it.

You have to go into the BIOS and change the boot order so that the CD drive is before the C drive. If you can't get to the BIOS, try booting from a floppy to get to the BIOS and then change the setting. Good luck.
