I need a website. I have an old one at MIT, but I can't use that for business. I have one through my ISP, but it will disappear when I move, and it's really hard to modify (I have to make changed locally and then upload each file inidividually). I do own some domain names currently.
Can anyone recommend some basic hosting services? I really don't need much. Just a few megs for articles, and postings. I don't even need email. I would prefer something designed for computer-saavy people, and not something made to hand hold those who run in fear at the site of HTML.

Well, I don't know if you are looking to pay for it or how much. But I use IMHosted. I have been pretty happy. You get 350 MB for 9.95 a month. It's got more features than you will probably use, but for a good price anyway.
