As of early this morning (CET, about 8 hours ago) and since friday morning (about 1AM CET) I've counted almost 1500 of those things sent to my home email account. Given an average size of 150KB, that's 220MB of wasted bandwidth for me alone... Quite apart from the damage done on infected machines, the massive volume of data this thing puts on the network is a major costfactor in and of itself.

It's pretty bloody awful, yes, I was offline for 4 days due to the hurricane. Coming back online, the first task was to deal with about 1000 of them, then update .procmailrc. What an unbelievable mess.
