How can I choose from multiple Soundcards

Hello,
my problem is, that i want to choose a soundcard from the system....
I only get access to the system-active ones.
Is there any possibility to choose from all soundcards the system provides?

I'm not sure what exactly you're asking...

However, I'm pretty sure it doesn't have anything to do with Swing/JFC/AWT... I'm not even sure if it has to do with Java programming or setting up the hardware in your computer...

I'm moving this post to the General Computing forum... if this has something to do with the Java Media Framework or something they can move it again to "Other Java APIs" or something...
