i want to count what all the file types opened in a minute, when they are opened and closed and send it through internet to a different place.
Is there a windows API or Java API to do this. If you send me code it would be great help.
Ex. in one minute if I open 2 word docs, 3 excel files ,
2 bitmap files and
4 media files
i need the following...
doc 2
xls 3
bmp 2
au 1
mp3 3
etc...
thanks in advance

This sounds like hooking a Windows DLL, not Java programming, so I'm moving this to "General Computing." Followups there.
