Well I am new to Weblogic. I have worked in COM+ Server in Windows 2000 I installed BEA Weblogic 8.1 on a Windows 98 machine but could not start Server from Weblogic Workshop through option Tools ->Server ->Start i ran initially commenv.bat to set the environment variables JAVA_HOME I read certain previous post and renamed startweblogic.cmd to startweblogic.bat But there is a problem I am getting "Out of Environment Space" Error and can't understand why This error appears on both i.e. when i run commenv.bat and when startweblogic.bat To me it feels that If Statement is not being recognised by the WIN 98 anYway Please try to solve my problem Thanks in advance
This sounds like a deficit of Windows 98 as in "W98 can't handle my huge classpath variable". If that's the case, you could try moving stuff closer to the root (C and remove unnecessary classpath entries in order to shorten the classpath variable.
