I have a laptop - Single harddisk and two partitions. It has Windows XP installed on it.
I'm planning to remove Windows XP and make it a dual boot machine with Windows 2000 & SUSE Linux 10.
Should I need to format the harddisk and install XP or it will be automatically taken care when I boot with Windows 2000 CD?
If I need to format the harddisk
-Should I use the bootdisk prepared from Windows XP or should I use the once which was prepared from W2K?
I heard that Linux cannot write into NTFS partitions. What is the best way to install Linux
-Should I format the entire harddisk as FAT32?
-Or is it okay if I have 3 partitions, one for Windows 2000 (in NTFS), one for Linux and one more partition with FAT32, which can be shared by both Linux & Windows?
Who says nothing is impossible? I've been doing nothing for years
