I was wondering how people go about getting search results from Google of their specific website with jsp: ala search string on google

"something site:www.myhomepage.com"

how to return this in a jsp formatted page. better to run a servlet?

appreciate ANY ideas

This really has nothing to do with jsp. You can use the Google AJAX Search API to get results from google without worrying about how it is returned (see the site for examples, etc).

If you're looking for tighter integration, you can use the Google SOAP Search API

I'v been looking into this and am thinking of using NUTCH

http://lucene.apache.org/nutch/

is this TOO much? i'm looking at the docs and it seems a major setup. thought there might be a more simple servlet?

any input appreciated
