plz i need help!!

ok, i have a floppy disk with all my files on there, they are very very very very important, i need them.. but now when i try to use it, an error comes up that says.. "disk in drive A: is not formatted, do you want to format it" why is this happening, if i loose those files, im seriously going to fail this semester... please help, Justin

Well Justin, As you always remains same... Your answers... I never understand how to relate them with the original thread..... Again this time you come up with the thread in wrong forum...... Although regarding your problem you can use so many disk utilities ... Check out google...for these utilities.. Hope best for your semester....

Take your floppy to some other computer (if you can find one that still has a floppy disk drive). It might work there. It should most likely work on the computer where you produced it. Floppy disk drives are mechanical beasts that can easily get out of alignment, and it's not hard to buy second-rate floppy disks either. When you do find a machine that can read your disk, use it to e-mail the files to yourself.
