Most browsers these days can copy bookmarks from one browser to another (e.g. InternetExplorer to Firefox or Netscape), but I'd like to transfer my bookmarks from one laptop to another. Is there an easy way to do this?

Recent versions of IE have that, here's what I found with a little bit of googling:

Firefox has an extension to do that (plus backup/restore of plugins..) but in my previous reinstall of my system i could not make it work although i did not work on it seriously since i had more important data to recover.

But if you only want to move bookmarks, then you can click on Bookmarks->Organize Bookmars and then File -> Export... When you will import the bookmarks, you will select Import menu item instead of Export.
